Hello Everyone!
My name is Jake Cyr and my journey into environmental health started with a Bachelor of Science in Public Health in 2016 and a Master of Public Health in 2018. During my studies, I realized environmental health was the perfect fit for me—I loved diving into different topics and never stopped wanting to learn more.
I spent five years working as an environmental consultant at a private firm, where I inspected homes and buildings for lead-based paint, asbestos, mold, and radon, and provided project oversight during abatement work. Most of my time was spent in homes doing lead-based paint inspections, which sparked a deeper interest in how residential building systems impact health. That led me to become a certified Healthy Homes practitioner and, eventually, to start my own company. My mission is simple: to provide high-quality lead-based paint inspections at an affordable rate while helping New England families create safer, healthier homes.
When I’m not working, you’ll probably find me with a cup of hot coffee in hand, reading a new book with my beagle pup nearby.
